近日，应伦敦设计双年展主席索雷尔爵士邀请，刘晓明大使和夫人胡平华女士赴萨默塞特宫参观了2018伦敦设计双年展。

索雷尔爵士、双年展执行主任高斯介绍了本届双年展参展情况，并祝贺南京市参展作品“南京大桥记忆计划”获得评委会“荣誉提名”奖。索雷尔爵士表示，本届双年展南京、香港特别行政区和台湾地区同时参展，汇集了中国两岸三地优秀设计师的作品，保利文化有限公司还成为本届双年展首席赞助商，让本届双年展处处闪耀中国元素。

Ambassador Liu said that the success of the first London design biennale 2016 has added a shining city card to London. He wished the London biennale a brighter future and made contributions to enhancing the mutual understanding and friendship between the Chinese and British people.

刘大使表示，2016年首届伦敦设计双年展成功举办，为伦敦增添了一张闪亮的城市名片，祝愿伦敦双年展越办越红火，为增进中英两国人民之间的相互了解与友谊贡献力量。

London design biennale was founded in 2016, was the industry as the “design of the Venice biennale” this time titled “Emotional state”,  aims to explore the connection between the design and the emotion, to explore the design how to influence people’s Emotional memory and existence, exhibition of Nanjing university, Lu AnDong plan exhibition curator professor of Nanjing university, Yangtze river bridge memory through a variety of media, such as video audio mock-up image deconstruction, as a historical and cultural symbol of the Nanjing Yangtze river bridge. The work was highly appraised by the jury for its academic quality, which reached the level of museum exhibition and was awarded a new honorary nomination for the biennial.

伦敦设计双年展创办于2016年，被业内誉为“设计界的威尼斯双年展”。本届双年展主题为“情感状态（Emotional States）”，旨在探讨设计与情感之间的联系，探究设计如何影响人类的情感、记忆与存在方式，南京市参展作品为南京大学鲁安东教授策展的“南京长江大桥记忆计划”。展览通过图像、视频、音频、实物、模型等多种介质解构了作为历史和文化符号的南京长江大桥。该作品获得评委会高度评价，称其学术品质达到了“博物馆展陈级别”，并获颁本届双年展新增的“荣誉提名奖”。
